I joined Hickman Orthodontics in April 2013 after graduating from The Ohio State University. Before becoming a Buckeye, I grew up in Alliance, Ohio where I began to develop an interest in dentistry after observing my father and grandfather practicing general dentistry.
I obtained dual Bachelors of Science in human nutrition and finance at Ohio State before attending dental school. I earned my Doctorate of Dental Survery at Ohio State in 2010 (and thus became a fourth-generation dentist!), and immediately enrolled in OSU’s orthodontic residency program. I completed that in 2013, and received my Master of Science and certificate of specialty in orthodontics.
During my residency, I was trained in the use of a wide variety of orthodontic procedures and appliances, including clear aligners and traditional braces. I am experienced in providing treatment for adults as well as children.
I am a member of the American Dental Association as well as the American Association of Orthodontists.
I live in Columbus with my husband Dan, and we both enjoy exploring the city as well as branching out to travel anywhere new. In my free time, I also enjoy cooking, running (especially fun races!), and yoga.
